Psychotherapy SIG was developed to provide a forum that facilitates communication and discussion, addresses problem solving, and encourages professional development for nurses working in the area of mental health.

• Providing a forum for the sharing of information and ideas between members to facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Facilitating participation in conferences, seminars and decision-making forums relevant to the interests of members and to be involved in activities to enhance the role of members.
• Facilitating participation in special projects and research, complementary to raising awareness and issues and emerging trends relevant to members.
• Raising the public profile of MHN SIG and increase public and health industry awareness of the value of this role.
